Had such a wonderful stay at Giorgos place. Fridge was filled with essentials on arrival and had very quick and clear communication with him for any problems we had. The house itself is very clean and comfortable, with lots of towels and bed sheets provided. We would definitely recommend this place as it crucially has everything you need. Just amazing !

Exceeded expectations.

Very nice place to stay with family. Lots of space and well equipped house for family. Everything we needed was there. Coffee, paper towels, shampoos, sugar lots of kitchen accessories to cook, clean, wash etc. Air conditioning in every room. 5 minutes walk to the sea. Very hospitable and nice hosts who even prepared traditional Greek pie for us when we came hungry from the airport. In general I recommend sincerely.

This place is absolutely amazing. We were running a bit late to get the keys and texted Gio to let him know and he was very responsive and waited for us without any issues. We even got a homemade dish , made by his mom . It was delicious . Gio and his wife walked us around the house and showed everything. They also had info for local restaurants , markets and recommended few places we should see while we stayed in Crete.We stayed at the cottage for a week , the place was clean , adorable, everything that we needed was there. The AC worked great during the hot nights. There is a big porch with tables and chair and it was lovely to hang out there in the evenings. The town is quiet and perfect if you want to relax but also close to some Bigger towns (15-30 mins away). There is a lovely beach within the walking distance. I highly recommend this place!

The best place for a family vacation!

If you are looking for a quiet place close to the beach, this house will be perfect for you. The host was nice and very helpful. The house is very clean and well equipped. We arrived in the evening and the host prepared something to eat and drink, which surprised us. There is WiFi access, washing machine, hair dryer, iron and dishwasher. Good access to the most beautiful places in Crete. Sunsets from the balcony are the best! I recommend this house and we will definitely come back there again.

Tolles Haus mit schöner Aussicht! Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, groß und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und idyllisch. Mit dem Auto kommt man schnell (ca. 20 min) zur Altstadt von Chania. In der Nähe gibt es auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und einige Restaurants. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen!

Giorgios got a lovely cottage in the greek village. It is a perfect place to explore western Crete, however it fits only for people who rent a car because village is pretty small itself. Cottage is clean and beautiful, the walk to the beach is about 8 mins by foot. Highly recommend.

It was excellent! It is very silent place located near the beach. In September you have really chance to be along on the beach! The house surpass all expectations (cleanness, comfort, George’s welcome and his readiness to help in any time)! The price/quality ratio is very good. Really nice place for sating. If we will consider Crete for our following vocations this house certainly will be one of the pretender! George, hi from me and my family from Siberia!

La casa di Giorgos è strategicamente ben posta, vicino alle spiagge più belle. È una casa comoda, piena di servizi, ha una terrazza al piano terra grande dove puoi pranzare magnificamente sempre : la mattina c'è un bel sole, a pranzo e cena un bel fresco e un bel vento. Vicino alla casa c'è un albergo a 5 stelle con belle piscine dove la sera possiamo andare per un ultimo bagno o aperitivo, molto piacevole. Quando siamo arrivati Giorgos ci ha fatto trovare un pasto caldo e prodotti per la colazione, cosa chiedere di più? Grazie di tutto speriamo di tornare a presto!

Casa splendida in ottima posizione

Abitazione molto bella, dotata di tanti confort, ampia, molto confortevole, ben tenuta e con mobilio di buon gusto.

Noi abbiamo soggiornato lì 5 giorni in 7 persone, di cui 3 adulti e 4 ragazzi. Abbiamo apprezzato moltissimo la gentilezza e disponibilità dei proprietari, che ci hanno fatto trovare al nostro arrivo una loro pietanza tipica, cucinata per noi, oltre ad un grande cesto di frutta.

In cucina sono poi presenti molti accessori e tanti ingredienti (sale, pepe, olio, zucchero, farina, caffè, the, ecc...).

Climatizzatori in ogni stanza. Ampio giardino con barbecue. Posizione tranquilla, di facile accesso alla spiaggia di ciottoli e sabbia (da casa si sente il rumore delle onde del mare), vicina comunque a paesi limitrofi con supermarket e ristoranti.

Chania a circa 20 minuti di auto.

Ringraziamo Georgious ancora per l’ospitalità.

If you're looking for a nice spot to visit western Creta, do not hesitate : Giorgos' house is the place you're looking for. The house is in very good condition and very well equipped. Its pleasant garden with a sea view will be perfect for your kids or yourself after a long day spent at the beach and if you need any assistance, you can be sure Giorgos will be available to help you, as he did for us when we had a little health problem with one of our kids. Last but not least : a fantastic homemade moussaka was waiting for us when we arrived at the house. What else could you want ;)

The perfect place to descober the wonderful beaches and landscape of Chania

The house is very confortable, with all the the things you could need and George and Eva are the best hots you can imagine. When we arrived they were waiting for us with a delicious mousaka and the fridge and the house were full of food and supplies. Creta is a wonderful land with wonderful people, this has been our second holidays here and that is for sure that we'll retorn. George and Eva thanks for everything!

We stayed for over a week with our family of five and really enjoyed Giorgo's house. It is large, very well equipped and tasetfully furnished, and within easy walking distace to the sea. Great views of the sea and mountains from the terrace in the evenings. We also found the location perfect for excursions to many of Western Crete's beaches, sights, and Chania old town. Giorgos and his family have been very friendly, hospitable and generous and have always been easy to reach. Highly recommended!

Отдыхали в доме у Гиоргаса и Марии в конце сентября-начале октября 4 взрослых, 2 подростка и ребёнок 2-х лет. Гостеприимство и отношение к гостям - выше всех ожиданий. Ненавязчивое, непринужденное общение, при этом быстрые и чёткие ответы по всем вопросам, искреннее участие в период бронирования и после. Обычно фото выглядят лучше, чем есть на самом деле. В этот раз, полное совпадение. Когда оказываешься в доме, ощущение, что в реальности дом лучше, чем на фотографиях. В доме ощущаешь, что тебя здесь ждали, как очень близкого и дорогого гостя, который едет отдыхать. Всё продумано до мелочей. Вся техника, бытовые приборы, посуда для разных поводов, бытовая химия, шампуни, гели, гигиена и т.д., т.е. абсолютно всё, что может Вам понадобиться дома. Очень было приятно, когда мы приехали и нас ждал накрытый стол и приготовленный горячий ужин на 7 человек. Фрукты, раке в честь приезда и набор продуктов (яйца, сыр, ветчина, молоко, джемы, мёд, хлеб, чаи, кофе, вода, хлопья, масло и много чего ещё...) При выезде, т.к. был поздний вылет, ребята предложили задержаться на необходимое время, не взяв никакой доплаты. Месторасположение - это деревня. Отлично подойдёт тем, кто хочет спокойный отдых, рядом море и возможность выбираться в город (Ханья в 19 км от дома), удобно как на машине, так и на автобусе (остановка рядом) или для желающих самостоятельно исследовать западную часть Крита. Рядом отель, пользовались услугами spa - ценра. Как spa - на троечку, но можно походить в финскую сауну и хамам. Вход в зону spa (сауны, джакузи, бассейн) - 10 евро с человека. Есть тренажёрный зал, площадки для большого тенниса - услуги можно оплатить на ресепшн в отеле. Большой продуктовый магазин - в 2 км от дома, рядом есть минимаркеты. Много таверен до которых можно прогуляться или доехать на машине. В целом, всем нам очень понравилось и мы благодарны Гиоргасу и Марии за приятное гостеприимство! От нас только положительные рекомендации!

Seaside Cottage is a very nice house very well arranged. The area is quiet, the sea 3 minutes away by foot, restaurants at walking distance, the village of Kolymvari nearby with good supermarkets, and well situated at 25 minutes form Chania, and on the way to the south and the west beaches. The house in itself is well arranged, there is all needed for the kitchen, a nice terrace to eat even at lunch time because you are in the shade and there is some air. Giorgos and Maria were there when we arrived and even had prepared some lunch for us! We were comfortable at 5. Thank you for a great stay and good memories.

Cleo

The house itself is very beautiful and comfortable. The beds are clean, with clean sheets and towels, all white. All is provided for convenience and comfort (extra blankets, storage space, reading lamps). Arriving very late at night we were surprised they had waited for us and had provided us with food, drink, soap, shampoo - so we can quickly eat and go to bed. Their mother had sent us a tray of fresh, hot boureki (mmmmm!). They are so wonderfully generous that you feel like family they're welcoming back! The outside has a large, comfortable terrace off the kitchen where we spent many a late night grilling, eating, and listening to the waves and to the cycades. Quiet, romantic, and truly perfect. A green lawn separates the house from a resort where one can pay 10 euros to reserve a tennis court, rackets and balls for one hour - very friendly staff, good courts, recommended. The property is in Rapaniana, a small group of houses between Tavronitis and Kolymbari, with a public bus station right there - easy access to anywhere using the excellent Cretan KTel bus system. We had a rented car this time as there is parking at the house. Due to its seclusion, the house has quiet, peaceful surroundings providing a restful sleep and lots of privacy. It is only a few bus stops away from Agia Marina, if night life and loud surroundings are what the traveller really pines for. The closest food store is also the best in the area - A&B - within a walkable range. On Saturdays, one may choose to shop for fresh ingredients at the Agora in Chania. I'm not aware of other farmers' markets in the area, maybe Giorgos could compile a list so we know where to find fresh sardines, meats, and a larger choice of olives. Inside the house there is a washer, dishwasher, oven, stove - all new and provided with detergent (it's a nice gesture to replenish before leaving, although the host is not asking - these detergents are expensive in Europe). It would be useful if Giorgos would leave some short instructions in English for the washer. We can read a bit of Greek, luckily. The stove has touch controls. Upstairs, there are balconies off of all rooms. On one of them there is a clothes drier and clothes pins - most European homes to not own an appliance for drying clothes. There is plenty of A/C if you choose to stay home by day when it gets hot. By night, we preferred to open the doors and windows and let the breeze in. There are roll-out screens for mosquitoes and bugs, but be careful since such screens are relatively fragile - handle them gently. There is WiFi at the house and we managed to even work from there - most convenient. The living room is ample and nicely decorated. I liked the sitting area most. Дом полностью оборудован всем необходимым, находится близко к пляжу. Хозяева прекрасно описали наиболее интересные места и рядом расположненные магазины. Пои заезде (очень поздно приехали) нас ждал вкуснейший пирог и все самое необходимое в холодильнике.

We spent a excellent week with our 3 children (8 to 4 y old) in this house. A lot of space in the garden for them to play. Very quiet place. Every nice places in west-Crete within 1 hour drive, and the nearest beach very close. We also appreciated a lot the attention of Giorgos and Maria who had prepared a meal and filled a bit the fridge for our arrival. We recommend this location !

La location est conforme à la description. Nous avons été accueilli de façon extrêmement conviviale par son propriétaire Giorgios : plein de bonnes choses à manger à notre disposition, une discussion chaleureuse en arrivant, une visite à Chania. Giorgios est très attaché à son île et désire que notre séjour nous laisse une bonne impression.

A partir de midi la terrasse étant à l'ombre, nous avons pu prendre tous nos repas dehors et grâce au vent marin, la chaleur a toujours été supportable. La plage, toute proche est une plage de galets, mais nous avons aussi pu profiter de la piscine du centre tout proche. Ayant louer une voiture, nous avons pu faire beaucoup de visites tout autour (Samaria, Elafonissi, Balos, ...). Au final, une impression tout à fait positive. Merci encore à Giorgios.
